Why Enroll at Landry

All of our teachers in CFBISD are certified in the core subject areas. All elementary teachers participated in Reading Academies and are trained in the Science of Teaching Reading. Teachers also receive specialized training in curriculum, reading strategies, differentiation, socio-emotional learning and much more.

At Landry Elementary, our students are able to connect with their peers and teachers, but also virtually in our one-to-one learning environment. Pre-K through first grade students are given an iPad and second through fifth graders are given a Chromebook. This ensures students have the necessary tools to engage as a 21st century learner. 

In addition to becoming connected digitally, students have opportunities to connect with each other through:

• Music Ensemble 
• STEAM Activities
• Interest - based clubs

There are two ways to get in:

1. If you are a new student and live in the attendance zone, you can move forward by completing online registration and follow the steps for online enrollment.
   
   Students may enroll for the current school year or can begin online registration for the new school year on April 1.
    
2. If you do not live in the attendance zone, you can apply now.

Membership in PTA is open to anyone who supports the PTA mission and wants to be involved in making a difference for the education, health, and welfare of children. Our mission is to engage our families and community to advocate for our students. 

Supporting Landry's PTA enables us to provide our students and staff opportunities to participate in school enrichment programs, school functions, and special events.
